This article provides a step-by-step guide on how to merge and mark a candidate, along with an explanation of the terms 'merged candidate' and 'marked candidate.
- Merging a Candidate
- Merging refers to combining two profiles of the same person into a single account. This typically occurs when a candidate uses two different email addresses but shares the same information.
- Marking a Candidate
- Marking a candidate involves assigning a label or designation that identifies them. Examples include marking a candidate as a "Star," "Executive," "Private," etc.
Merging a Candidate Profile
To merge a candidate:
- Go to the Candidate Section
- Select the candidate you want to merge
- Click the three dots ⋮ and choose "Merge Candidate"
- Select the profile you want to merge with. Click "Next"➡️
- Choose the data to update ✏️ and click "Merge.
The candidate will now be merged to have a single account. A pop-up to enter any additional details will be shown. Click “Save & Update” 💾, once finalised.
Marking a Candidate
To Mark a Candidate:
- Go to the Candidate Section
- Click the three dots next to the candidate's profile.
- Select "Mark as" and choose the label you want to apply.
