Employee Documents linked to a Training Course

Overview

After an employee has been added to a Training Course in Talexio, you can save a document to their Documents in the employee profile linked to the course they attended. This article explains how this can be achieved. An example where this may be beneficial is uploading Training Certification linked to the course attended.

Permissions

To view or manage other employees' documents, users must have the Manage Employee Documents permission enabled. This will allow you to view/manage all the documents or specific documents for an employee(s).
Employees will need the permission Manage Courses to view, add, edit, and delete courses which is required to be on a global level.

Uploading a Document

The process outlined below shows how to upload an employee document linked to a Training Course.

This feature is only available for employees who were scheduled in a Training Course on Talexio. If the employee has not been scheduled for a Training Course, the document cannot be linked for the employee to the Training Course.

  1. Go to the Documents section of the specific employee and click Upload Document.


  2. Select the file to be uploaded and in Data Category, choose Training. This will then show the Course field where you can specify the name of the Course attended.


  3. Click Upload and within the Training data category folder, you will now see the file linked to the course specified.

If you wish to edit/view/download/delete the file uploaded, you can do this from the buttons on the right-hand side of the document.
