Overview
Through the introduction of the Performance Management Module, users can create check-ins, which may be used as catch-up points between employees and their manager. In addition, follow-up to check-ins may be provided, and this article explains how this is handled.
Permissions
The permissions related to check-ins are
Manage Performance Reviews: Allows the user to manage the performance reviews and assign them to employees, units, or the entire company.
View Performance Reviews: Allows the user to view the performance reviews. More information on the permissions used in the Performance Management module can be found here.
Follow-up to check-in
Please note that after creating check-ins for employees, follow-ups can be added to the check-ins as needed, particularly if additional review of the assessment is required.
- From the check-in section of the performance module, you would find the list containing the available check-ins, and you are able to select the particular one. Following that, you can specify the next check-in date, which then becomes the follow-up date and thus shows in the upcoming check-in column.
- From the dialogue box, input the date of the next check-in
- Click ADD CHECK-IN. This then updates the number of check-ins from the check-in page
