How to view your clockings: A Quick Guide for Employees

Overview

After making the clockings against your shifts, if you have been given permission by your System Administrator, you can see the clockings you have made. This article explains how this can be done.

Your account has been created by a System Administrator within your company. These System Administrators are your first point of contact when you have questions about the system.

The Process

Clockings are part of the Time & Attendance module and can be made using the Online Punch Clock or a physical punch clock device. To locate your clockings, follow the steps below:

  1. From your Dashboard, click on the Time & Attendance section.
  2. Click on the Clockings tab.
  3. Use the filters to show results for a specified time or location.
  4. Click on Load Clockings to show all the clockings made within the filter criteria.

Why are some of my punch times missing or incomplete?

You may have missing or broken (incomplete) clockings because the clocking was not made, or if made on a physical punch clock, the device is not connected to the internet.

You should contact your manager or System Administrator if these need correction.

Can I edit my own punch times?

Editing clockings is based on permissions granted by the System Administrator. If they have given permission, then clockings can be edited.

How do I report a missing or incorrect punch?

This issue should first be brought to the attention of your System Administrator. If they cannot resolve the issue, they will contact Talexio about the matter.
Is this the same as my payslip hours? The basic hours included in the payslip may not be the same as your clocked hours. This can be different for several reasons. For an explanation of your basic hours, you should speak to your manager or System Administrator.
How do I know if my punches have been approved by my manager? In the list of your clockings, the status of the clocking will be marked as Processed.
