Overview
There may be occasions when, after submitting a leave request, you realise that an error has been made, such as selecting the incorrect date or number of hours. In other instances, you may determine that the leave is no longer necessary due to a change in plans or priorities. This article outlines the steps required to edit or cancel a previously submitted leave booking.

Leave that has already been included in a payslip cannot be edited or cancelled.
Editing Booked Leave
Once your leave has been booked and approved, you may edit your request if necessary.
Please note that any changes to an approved leave request will require re-approval from your leave supervisor.
A leave request can only be edited once the leave has been approved.
To edit a leave request:
- Go to your dashboard
- Click on "Browse all Leave" from the leave pod.
- A list of all your leave requests will be shown. Click on the edit icon next to the leave request you would like to edit.
- Amend the details as needed. Once the changes have been made click on "Edit Details"
The leave supervisor will now receive a an email to approve the changes to the leave request.
Cancelling Booked Leave
Unlike editing a leave request, cancelling a leave request can be done before it is approved by a leave supervisor.
However, once a leave request has been cancelled, it cannot be restored—you will need to submit a new leave request.
If an approved leave request needs to be cancelled, supervisor approval will be required.
To Cancel a leave request:
- Go to your dashboard
- Click on "Browse all Leave" from the leave pod.
- A list of all your leave requests will be shown. Click on the "X" icon next to the leave request you would like to cancel.
- A pop-up confirming that you wish to cancel the leave will be shown. Click on Reject.
