Overview
There are instances when your device may go offline. Once connectivity is restored, the device will automatically attempt to sync with Talexio and process clockings. However, if connection issues persist, clockings may fail to sync or pull correctly. This article explains how to manually push pending clockings to Talexio or pull clocking logs directly from a physical device using the Cloud Device Manager (CDM).
How to push clockings
Use this option to push existing logs from the CDM up into your Talexio Clockings page.
- Log in to your CDM (Cloud Device Manager).
- Go to the Cloud sync tab.
- Click on the three dots next to your FTP connection.
- Select Run Upload Clockings Now.
- Choose the Date From which you want the clockings to be pushed.
- Click Run Upload Now.
Data may not be visible instantly. It can take up to an hour for the CDM to sync with Talexio after initiating the upload.
How to pull clockings
Use this option to force fetch attendance logs directly from the physical hardware device into your CDM.
- Log in to your CDM (Cloud Device Manager).
- Go to the Devices tab.
- Locate your device and click the three dots (more options) on the right side of the device row.
- Select Pull from device.
- In the pop-up modal, check the Attendance logs (Clockings) checkbox (along with any other data types you wish to retrieve).
- Click PULL to send the command to the device.
