When relocating your device, it’s important that we collect some key details. This helps us keep our records accurate and up to date, while ensuring the move to the new location goes smoothly.
This article outlines the information we’ll need from you and the steps to follow for a successful device relocation.
Please include the device serial number when notifying us of a relocation. This helps us identify the correct device.
Required Information
Relocating your device to a new location may require updates from our end, such as changing the device’s work location, updating its IP address, and updating our records.
To ensure everything continues to run smoothly, we will require the following information:

If you will be handling the device relocation yourself:
- Device details: Serial number and model.
- New location: Address where the device will be installed.

Internet Settings: Indicate whether the connection is DHCP or static IP. If static, provide the necessary settings or ensure your IT representative can configure them.

If we will be handling the device relocation:
We offer the option of dismantling the device and installing it for you ourselves. Please note that this will incur a charge.
- Device details: Serial number and model
- Power supply: Confirmation that the installation location has a 3-pin plug socket.
- Network connection: Confirmation of a network cable with RJ45 clips (approximately 1.15 m from the floor).
- Internet settings: Indicate whether the connection is DHCP or static IP. If static, provide the necessary settings or ensure your IT representative can configure them.
- Existing Location: Address and map link of the current device location.
- New Location: Address and map link of the new device location.
- Site photo: A picture showing the installation area, including the power supply and network cable.
- Contact on-site: Name and phone number of the person available during installation.
