Overview

This article provides a comprehensive guide for Talexio clients who would like to discontinue their service or terminate their agreement. The article walks you through the process, covering key details regarding fees, account access, and the handling of your data.

 

Notification of termination of service

If you're looking to end your Talexio subscription, we will require communication in writing, from an authorised person within the company, ideally also stating the reason for termination. Notification in writing needs to be received 90 days prior to your next renewal date, which is stipulated within your agreement. Should you require clarification on when your renewal date is, please contact us on support@talexio.com.

Fees and Invoicing

Depending on your specific situation, your final invoice will be handled in one of the following ways:

  • If you are cancelling your subscription prior to your next subscription renewal cycle, and within a valid notification period, your next or renewal invoice will not be issued.
  • If you are cancelling your subscription after the valid notification period or after the renewal invoice has been issued, Talexio has the right to request full or partial settlement of invoice.

Please note that regardless of notification, on termination of service, any pending invoices due are to be settled in full unless otherwise agreed upon with Talexio.

Account Access and Data

  • Account Access: Your access to Talexio will be formally closed on your offboarding date, which will be communicated to you via email. As a general rule, if you have advised on cessation of service within a valid notification period, your offboarding date will be one day prior to your next renewal date. Until then, you will have full access to your Talexio account. If you have advised of service after the valid notification period, your offboarding date will be the date of communication.
  • Data Export: Before your account is closed, you are responsible for exporting any and all relevant data. You can follow the steps in this article for guidance. If you have any questions or need help with this process, please contact us on support@talexio.com.
  • Data Deletion: We will retain your data for 30 days after your account is closed, as per our agreement. After this 30-day period, all of your data will be permanently deleted.
