Overview

The Permissions section in Talexio manages employee access to system components and data. With over 80 permissions across multiple modules, it offers comprehensive control and delegation of functions.

This article explains what Target Groups are and how they are managed within Talexio.

Target Group

A Target Group is a group of employees that permissions can be assigned to exercise over.

Permissions

To assign employees to a Target Group, you need the Manage Permissions permission at a level that includes the employee.

Target Groups Section of Permissions

The Target Groups section is used to assign employees to permission Target Groups. Employees assigned to a group will automatically include them in any permissions that use this target group. This affects who can see or manage this employee's information.

Target Groups is extremely useful when you want to group employees who are in different units and report to different managers.

Case Example

Employee X needs multiple permissions over Employee A, Employee B and Employee C. These employees all report to other managers and are all in different units. Instead of specifying the employees in each permission to be assigned, they can be added to a Target Group, and the Target Group can be specified in each permission.
