Overview
Line managers involved in the recruitment process need visibility of the applications they are assigned to in order to perform their tasks. This article provides a step-by-step guide on how to determine which applications are visible to line managers.
- Line Manager
- A line manager is a user who holds specific permissions related to vacancies and applications but does not have full administrative control. The role permission includes several functionalities, such as creating vacancies, reviewing candidates' CVs, and accessing shortlisting questions, among others.
Line manager permissions are only available to ATS Plus users.
To view or edit the application statuses available or visible to Line Managers:
- Go to Settings ⚙️
- Click on Application Statuses under the tab "Configuration"
Column heading Meaning Applications visible by line managers Setting a status to “Yes” will show the applications which are in this status, in the vacancy/ies that the line manager is linked to.
NB - The status "Sent to Line Manager" needs to be set as “Yes”Status available to line managers Setting a status to “Yes” will allow the line manager to use this application status.
NB - Typically, statuses available for line managers are: Proceed with interview, Not Shortlisted, On Hold - Click on the Edit icon ✏️ and tick or untick the relevant checkboxes to update these settings.
- Settings are updated for all line managers (one-for-all).
