To be able to enable the online punch clock for employees, you will need the Manage Permissions permission. To use the online punch clock, you will need the Online Punch Clock permission. This must be set to Self. For more information on this permission, click here.

Secondly, before an employee can use the punch clock, time and attendance needs to be enabled from their profile.

How to remove the Punch Label
The punch label is a field where users can type what they will be working on. This is an optional field and can also be removed.
To do so, you will need the Manage Client Settings permission. This must be set to global.
To remove the punch label, go to settings and switch Hide punch clock label on:
