Overview
If you have the Time & Attendance module enabled, you may use Talexio's online punch clock to punch in and out of work every day. The Punch Clock can be found in the Dashboard or in the Clockings section in Time & Attendance.
Due to GPS integration, cell tower data, and Wi-Fi accuracy, mobile devices provide more precise location data for the online punch clock compared to laptops, which rely mostly on Wi-Fi positioning and IP addresses.
Permissions
To be able to enable the online punch clock for employees, you will need the Manage Permissions permission. To use the online punch clock, you will need the Online Punch Clock permission. This must be set to Self. For more information on this permission, click here.
Enabling Time & Attendance
Before an employee can use the punch clock, Time & Attendance needs to be enabled from their profile. For more information on this, click here.

Removing the Punch Clock Notes
The punch label is a field where users can type what they will be working on. This is an optional field and can also be removed.
To do so, you will need the Manage Client Settings permission. This must be set to global.
To remove the punch label, go to Settings and under the T&A (Time & Attendance) section, switch Hide punch clock label on.
