Overview
Every punch clock we provide is configured to match the location details you share with us, so when it's installed, the correct name and location are already in place. But what happens if a new device needs to be added, or if a device has been or will be moved to a different location? The article will provide you with a step-by-step guide on how to add a new device to Talexio.
If the device has been moved or is planned to be moved from its original location, please reach out to Support to assist you in this process.
Setting up your Device
To set up your device, you will need to:
- Go to the Time and Attendance Section
- Click on the "Clocking Devices" tab
- Select "Add Clocking Device"
- Select the relevant device type, add the serial number and the Work Location.
- Click on "Save"
Should you have more than one device, click Add device again to add another device.
If you are not using a device which is offered by Talexio, you may choose “Other” in the device type drop-down.
