Adding Configured Shifts to the Working Schedule
Shifts can be added to the Working Schedule based on the Configured Shifts set in the Schedule Generator or those set as a Personalised Rotation Pattern. According to these instructions, the Working Schedule will be generated when the below steps are followed.
- From the Time & Attendance section, click on the Working Schedule tab and click on the +Generate Schedule button.
- Select whom you want to generate this schedule for and for when based on the following details:
- Date Range - The period shifts should be generated for.
- Generate Globally - This will generate a schedule for all employees within the company.
- Don't generate schedule on a full day of leave? - Enabling this setting means a shift will not be generated on days when an employee has a full day of leave already booked.
- Employee/ Department/ Job Schedule - You can use these filters generate the schedule for specific employee(s), department(s) or job Schedule(s). The Employee field allows you to paste multiple Employee Codes for the employees you would like to generate. You may also select employees from the dropdown.
If there are employees with Personalised Rotation Patterns, you can edit the generated shifts from this dialog. Click here for more information on this.
- Click Generate Schedule and the Working Schedule will be filled with all the Configured Shifts in an Unpublished State.
Shifts can be edited while they are Unpublished and not yet visible to employees. The next step is to Publish the shifts which will make them visible to employees.
Apart from the steps mentioned in this article, shifts can also be added based on Working Schedule Needs or copied and pasted from already created shifts.
