If you are in the process of creating shifts for your employees, there are two ways of going about this.
You may either add employees individually to the working schedule, or you may generate them in bulk (following configuration). For more information on the working schedule, click here.
If your weekly schedules tend to follow the same pattern, you may want to copy a shift onto another day, week or even month.
Copying daily shift
- Go to the Scheduler section
- Click on the Working schedule tab
- Click on the three dots menu and select Copy shift
4. This will give you the option to paste it wherever is needed on that existing view
5. Click the Paste button of the relevant day
Bulk copying of shifts
- Go to the Scheduler section
- Click on the Working schedule tab
- Click on the Copy at the top of your screen - this will copy all the schedules shown in that view. If you'd like to copy the shifts of only one person, or a particular unit, you will first need to filter the view accordingly.
- After clicking on Copy, go to the desired week/month/day where you would like to paste, and click the Paste button.
- 5. You will need to publish the shifts once done
This form of bulk copying and pasting can be done in daily/weekly/monthly views. Prior to copying, please ensure that you are in the desired view.
