Overview

The error "Unable to send email" usually means a user's email address has been blacklisted. This article will explain how this can be resolved.

Common Reasons for Email Blacklisting

An email address is typically blacklisted automatically by internal servers to maintain system security and domain health. The most frequent causes include consecutive hard bounces when delivering messages to email addresses that are:

  • Inactive
  • Expired
  • Mistyped

You can confirm an email address has been blacklisted by going to Insights > Talexio Audit and searching for Emails Blacklisted pod.

Resolution Steps

The system will continue to block outgoing communications to this destination until you clear the restriction. Email addresses that are mistyped can be amended and the email resent.

To remove an email address from the blacklist, you will need to contact the Talexio Support team.

Before contacting the support team, make sure that the email address is added to Talexio with the correct spelling and that the mailbox is active.
