Overview

Permissions determine what you can and cannot see/do on Talexio. Setting up your permissions correctly ensures that your users have the exact level of access they need to perform their roles efficiently while keeping sensitive data secure. This article provides a breakdown of the specific permissions relating to the Pay Equity and Job Scoring features.

Permissions

To set up and manage these roles, you will need the Manage Permissions permission, and this must be set to global.

Pay Equity Permissions

There are 3 permissions available to control access to configuration, evaluation, and approval within the Pay Equity framework:

  • The Manage Pay Equity permission operates strictly on a global level. Users assigned this role can build out the core job evaluation frameworks, define dynamic criteria categories, evaluate jobs and approving.

  • The Evaluate Pay Equity permission supports granular scoping but does not support exclusions. It allows users to evaluate only the jobs within the departments or employee groups they have permissions for. This permission grants evaluation capabilities only and does not include approval rights.

  • The Approve Evaluation permission can only be assigned globally. It allows users to approve or deny job score evaluations and inherently includes the ability to evaluate jobs.
