Overview
Password-protecting payslips is an essential security measure that safeguards sensitive financial details, such as salary and tax data. This feature helps organisations maintain strict compliance with data privacy standards while ensuring employee personal information remains confidential.
Permissions
To perform these actions, you require the following permissions:
- Manage Client Settings: Set to Global level to enable payslip password protection.
Enabling Password Protection
This protection applies exclusively to payslips delivered via email and does not restrict viewing payslips directly on the Talexio platform. Once enabled on the Root company settings, it will apply to all Business Units.
- Go to Settings > Client Settings.
- Scroll down to the System section.
- Enable the Password protect payslips toggle.
Once enabled, the system automatically emails the payslip password to the employee upon generating their first payslip.
Resending a Payslip Password
- Go to People and search for the required employee.
- Click their name to access their profile.
- Click the three-dot menu next to their name.
- Click Resend payslip password.
