Overview

Daylight saving time setting enables your punch clock device to automatically update the time. This needs to be configured manually, yearly.

The time settings are listed below, followed by the instructions to update your clocking device. Should you find any difficulties let us know through our support channels and our representatives will contact you.

Should you prefer, there is a setting on the CDM (Cloud Device Manager) that, if enabled, will not require that the Daylight Saving Time settings are amended each year.

Use Server Time instead of DST settings

Should you not wish to go through this process every year, there is a setting that may be enabled from the Cloud Device Manager that will automatically adjust the punch clock's device whenever there is a change in time. From the Cloud Device Manager (CDM), go to Devices and click on SN next to your Punch Clock device: Then select 'Use Server Time instead of DST Settings on Device' and press Save Changes.

If you have multiple punch clock devices, this must be done for all punch clock devices separately

It is important that if this setting is chosen, the setting Daylight Saving Time must be marked as OFF on the device.
