In one of our earlier releases we introduced “Leave type tags”, this was to share more visibility for the type of leave employees book. Now, we have introduced the option to make “Leave type tags” mandatory when booking leave.
1. Go to "Leave", "Manage leave types", click "More" and select "Manage leave tags", a dialog will appear.
Note: From the dialog, one can add new tags by clicking on the "Add tag" button.
2. A toggle switch is available to make "Leave tags" required.
3. When booking leave, employees would not be able to proceed unless the "Leave type tag" is selected. This can be applied to all leave types.
Note: An error would be displayed to the employees saying "Leave type tags are required when booking Vacation leave. Please select a leave type tag"
