1. Functionality available to line managers
The line manager will be able to:
- Create a new vacancy
- View the candidate CV
- View the covering letter
- View the interview report created by the Admin user
- View shortlisting questions
- View and submit notes
- Update the application status
2. How it works
- The vacancy leader links the line manager to a vacancy.
- The vacancy leader sets one or more applications of a particular vacancy to the status “Sent to Manager”.
- Line managers linked to that vacancy will receive an email that they have new applications to review.
- Line managers can log in to their profile and change status of the applications to a new status, based on Permissions given.
- The vacancy leader receives an email when line managers has set new statuses.
2. How to view the vacancies a line manager is linked to
Line managers will only be able to see vacancies which are directly linked to them. This is within the control of the Admin team, who link the relevant vacancies to the relevant line managers.
Should you not be able to view a particular vacancy, please confirm with your Admin team that the following is correct:
- You as line manager are linked to the right vacancy
- The vacancy status of the relevant vacancy is an open one
- The closing date of the relevant vacancy is in the future
- The vacancy is published
3. How to view a candidate's CV
- Go to the vacancy that you would like to review.
- Go to the applications section.
- Select the relevant candidates and click either on the candidate name highlighted in blue, or else click on the burger menu (three dots) in line with the candidate you would like to view the CV for, and select "Download CV" from the menu items.
4. How to change an application status
- Go to the vacancy that you would like to review.
- Go to the applications section.
- Select the relevant candidates and click on the New Status field
- Select the new status and click Save
- You may add a Note which will be visible for the Admin users.
5. How to add and view notes on candidate
- Go to the vacancy that you would like to review.
- Go to the applications section.
- When changing the candidate application status, you may also add a Note. The note will be visible to the Admin users only (not to the candidate).
- You as line manager, may also view the Notes added by yourself linked to the respective candidate.
6. How to view interview reports
- Go to the vacancy that you would like to review.
- Go to the applications section.
- Click on the burger menu (three dots) in line with the candidate you would like to view the interview report for, and select "Latest interview report" from the menu items. Interview reports are created by the Admin team following an interview with the candidate. Line Managers can only view (and not edit) interview reports.
