Overview
Talexio allows you the option of banking your overtime hours instead of being paid for them. These entitlements can then be requested in place of other leave types. This article goes through the settings that can be set up to help manage Banking of Hours effectively.

To amend Client Settings, you will need the permission Manage Client Settings on Global level.
Banking Hours Client Settings
These settings have been added so that you can customise your Banking Hours rules.
The settings are explained below:

Banking default leave type on Saturdays
If leave type is specified, any overtime worked on Saturdays during approval by default will be banked into that leave type balance. -
Banking default leave type on standard days
If leave type is specified, any overtime worked on standard days (Monday to Friday) during approval by default will be banked into that leave type balance. -
Banking default leave type on Sunday Public holidays
If leave type is specified, any overtime worked on Sunday Public holidays during approval by default will be banked into that leave type balance. -
Banking default leave type on Sundays
If leave type is specified, any overtime worked on Sundays during approval by default will be banked into that leave type balance. -
Banking monthly limit
Set the maximum number of hours that can be banked per month. Leave this field empty if no limit is required. -
Banking rate
Define the rate at which overtime hours are converted into banked hours. If left empty, the rate specified in each employee's position will be used.
For settings 1-5, the fields can be left empty if no default leave type is needed for the day type shown in the setting.
Once the settings have been set up, these will act upon the Banking Hours process accordingly.
