Overview
Assign Work Codes to employee position histories, so basic hours or shifts assigned the specified work code can be paid at a specified hourly rate. Add rules to pay additional Benefits based on basic, leave, or T&A clocked hours, to be given on top of the base hourly rate.
The Onboarding Assistant's appearance has been updated. The videos in this article may look different from your account, but the system works the same.
What are Additional Hourly Rates?
Additional Hourly Rates form part of an employee's remuneration. These are rates of pay that replace or supplement their normal basic hourly rate. These can be set up as:
- Work Codes - Codes that employees will clock in with, linked to a specific hourly rate to be used instead of the base hourly rate.
- Benefits - An allowance set as an hourly rate to be given on top of the base hourly rate.
Manual Updates
The steps to follow to set up and manually add Additional Hourly Rates as Work Codes and Benefits can be found in their dedicated articles.
