Overview
When you purchase a device from Talexio, it is automatically set up with the punch state enabled. This means employees are required to manually select Punch In or Punch Out each time they clock.
The following article explains how to disable the punch state option, allowing employees to punch in and out without having to manually select it themselves.
Please note that disabling the punch state option is not recommended. If you choose to do so, ensure that all shifts are scheduled in advance. Failing to do this may result in inaccurate clockings, broken punches, and additional manual corrections.
- Open the menu by pressing the menu icon located at the bottom right.
- Enter your admin credentials on the prompted screen. This will allow you to log in to your main menu and edit any settings on your device.

- Once logged in, tap on the Personalize icon
- Select Punch State Options.
- Tap on Punch State Mode.
- Tap on “Off”
