Overview
Client settings is a tab in the Settings section of your Talexio account with the below basic settings.

Permissions
To access and manage the Client Settings tab you will need the Manage Client Settings permission, and this must be set to global.
Client Settings
This page is split up into 3 sections:
- Theme;
- Email; and
- System.
Each business unit can set it's own separate client settings:
Theme
Here, users can do the following:

- Upload a company logo (this will appear on each user's Talexio account - at the top left hand corner) and on payslips:
- Set primary and secondary company colours for the Talexio account:

Email Settings
Here, users can do the following:

- Set Reply-to email address(es): this means that if an employee receives an email from the system, and they reply to that email, such reply will be sent to the email address(es) populated here. Please note that multiple emails can be stored. To input an email, simply type the email, then press the Enter or Return key on your keyboard and then press save changes.
- Set Daily Leave Email times. This is an email sent to employees with the View Other Employee Leave permission. Click here for detailed information on this function;
- Enable/disable acceptance requirement for overtime shifts. When this is switched on and an overtime shift is published (and the option to send an email notification to the concerned employee(s) is selected), the employee(s) will receive an email to accept or decline the overtime:

For more information on how to publish shifts, click here. - Overtime Shift Response Email Address: should Overtime Shift Requires Acceptance be switched on, you will see this field. This means that if an employee receives an email to accept/decline an overtime shift, and they reply to that email, such reply will be sent to the email address populated here. Please note that only one email address can be stored here.
- Exclude Contractors from the Daily Leave Emails: if you have inputted a same day time or next day time for the daily leave emails to be sent, then you will see this field. By switching it on, you will be excluding any employees who are saved as third party contractors from receiving the daily leave email.
- Set Reply-to email address(es): this means that if an employee receives an email from the system, and they reply to that email, such reply will be sent to the email address(es) populated here. Please note that multiple emails can be stored. To input an email, simply type the email, then press the Enter or Return key on your keyboard and then press save changes.
System Settings
Here, users can do the following:

- Show leave balance in day/hours. By default, leave balances on Talexio are shown in hours. Switching this on will allow the leave pod to display any leave in the day-equivalent. For example: if an employee works on a 20 hour, 5 day a week schedule, then one working day is equivalent to 4 hours. If said employee has a leave balance of 200 hours, the system will show 50 days of leave.
- Switch time and attendance daily roundings on/off;
- Enable signRequest for signing documents;
- Switch on clockings summary in payslip for employees who are paid according to approved hours. Click here for more information on this.
- Set login token expiry days. When logging in, you will see a tick box to keep you logged in for 30 days. The option here will allow you to change this. Leaving this blank will mean that you will be required to log in every 30 days;
- Show leave balance in day/hours. By default, leave balances on Talexio are shown in hours. Switching this on will allow the leave pod to display any leave in the day-equivalent. For example: if an employee works on a 20 hour, 5 day a week schedule, then one working day is equivalent to 4 hours. If said employee has a leave balance of 200 hours, the system will show 50 days of leave.

- Hide the punch clock label from the online punch clock. If this is switched on, employees will not see the optional punch label on their online punch clock.

- Set a minimum leave request period. By default, employees with the Request Leave permission can request leave for any future date (and if allow backdated requests is switched on for that leave type, then they can request leave for past dates too). If the option to set a minimum leave request period is set (to for example 3 days), then employees (non-admins) can only book up to 3 days in advance;
- Show leave requests to non-approvers - If this is switched on, then employees who have the View Other Employee Leave permission will be able to see pending leave bookings of those employees whose leave they are set up to see;
- Show leave breakdown in payslips. If this option is switched on, employees will be able to see a more detailed breakdown of their leave in their payslip. If the option is switched off, employees will see this:
