Performance Management Permissions

Overview

Permissions determine what you can and cannot see/do on Talexio. It is important to set these up correctly. Click here for detailed instructions on how to set up permissions. Click here for the full list of available permissions. Read on for an explanation of the permissions relating to Performance Management. Performance Management permissions primarily target what you can see and do in the Performance Management section.

Permissions

To set up and manage permissions, you will need the Manage Permissions permission, and this must be set to global. 

Performance Management Permissions

There are 5 permissions in this section:

  • This allows users to access the Objectives tab in the Performance section. Please note that you will also need View/Manage Performance Reviews to use this function. With these permissions, users may view performance reviews (more information on this permission is below) and add, edit, and delete performance objectives.

    This permission must be assigned on a global level.

  • This allows users to access the Reviews tab in the Performance section. Here, users can create ad-hoc reviews, as well as edit and delete performance reviews. Users may also view the final scores and comments submitted by other employees.

  • This allows users to access the Reviews, Automation Strategies, and Review Criteria tabs within the Performance section. From within the Automation Strategies tab, the user will be able to add, edit, clone and delete automation strategies. 

    From within the Competencies tab, the user will be able to add, edit, and delete Competencies, and add, edit, and delete Competency Categories.

    This permission must be assigned on a global level.

  • This allows users to access the Objectives tab in the Performance section. Please note that you will also need View/Manage Performance Reviews to use this function. With these permissions, users may view performance reviews and view (and not edit) performance objectives.

    This permission must be assigned on a global level.

  • This allows users to access the Reviews tab in the Performance section. Here, users can view (and not edit) the final ratings of employees from whom they have this permission set. Users may also view the final scores and comments submitted by other employees.
