Overview
Permissions determine what you can and cannot see/do on Talexio. It is important to set these up correctly. Click here for detailed instructions on how to set up permissions. Click here for the full list of available permissions. Read on for an explanation on the permissions relating to Other Talexio permissions. These are permissions which are not directly attributable to a particular module.
Permissions
To set up and manage permissions, you will need the Manage Permissions permission, and this must be set to global.
Other Permissions
There are 12 permissions in this section:

This allows users to approve or reject allowance requests made by those for whom they have this permission set on. Please note that Manage All Employee Data is needed together with this permission. This will give the user access to the Requests section, whereby they can approve or reject this request.

This allows users to access the Salary Reviews section. From within this section, you may view and approve salary reviews which are pending approval:
You cannot create salary reviews with this permission alone. You will need the Create Draft Salary Review permission (more information on this below) to do so.

This allows users to give specific Permission Access levels to other employees without the need for the Manage Permissions permission. If you checked out this article on Settings Permissions, then you will know that the Manage Permissions permission can only be granted globally.

This allows users to access the Salary Reviews section. From within this section, you may create draft Salary Reviews for approval. Please note that you will also need Manage Employment Position History to create draft salary reviews for employees:
You cannot approve salary reviews with this permission alone. You will need the Approve Salary Review permission to do so.

This allows users to access the Insights section. From here, they can download reports on Organisation data (such as team size by unit and retention rates), Demographical data (such as gender information, residence, and nationality), and leave data (such as weekly sick patterns).

This allows users to add, edit, and delete allowance requests. Please note that Manage Benefits is needed together with this permission. This will give the user access to the Settings section, whereby they manage any allowances.

This allows users to access the Announcements section and send out announcements. Please note that employees do not need any permissions to receive announcements (they need a work email address and an active position history).

This allows users to access the Data Retention/GDPR tab in the Settings section. Here, GDPR retention periods can be amended, data retention policies can be uploaded, and different retention periods can be assigned to the different data categories found in the employees' documents section.

This allows users to add/edit/delete position histories for employees. With this position, however, users will not be able to see the Remuneration package tab in the employee's position.
This permission needs to be added in conjunction with View all employee data or View Employment Position History. Users with this permission can only view such data for employees.
Please note that there is also a permission titled Manage Employment Position History that will give the employee the permission to manage salaries. This can be found under Employee Data Permissions.

This allows users to submit an allowance request for the employees on whom this permission is set. To be able to submit an allowance request for yourself, this permission alone is adequate. To submit allowance requests for others, you will also need one of these four permissions: View All Employee Data, Manage All Employee Data, View Employment Position History, or Manage Employment Position History.

This allows users to view any allowance requests (both those pending approval and approved allowances) of the employees for whom the permission is set. The user needs one of the following four permissions to be able to view allowance requests: View All Employee Data, Manage All Employee Data, View Employment Position History, or Manage Employment Position History.

This allows users to access the Requests section - specifically the Historical Activity tab within this section. Here, users will be able to see an audit trail of changes done within system.
From here, users can filter by Requester, Moderator, Subject, Type of change, and Date. Such data may also be exported.
This permission needs to be set on global in order for users to gain access to the Historical Activity tab within the Requests section.
Alternatively, if this permission is set to a specific unit/employee, then the user will be able to see the history of that employee/unit alone by going to the employee's profile and clicking on the activity tab. Please note that View/Manage All Employee Data (or any other employee data permission) is also needed to gain access to the employee's profile
